ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Police are emphasizing the importance of seatbelts after three people were able to survive a dramatic rollover crash in Ann Arbor.
The crash happened on Plymouth Road, near Broadway Street on Saturday, March 16, at about 4 a.m. The driver was one of two 19-year-old women who were hospitalized with minor injuries. A 20-year-old man who was a passenger was critically injured, but has since improved and is expected to survive.

New surveillance video from the scene captured a speeding Porsche drive off the road, strike a light pole and roll over five times before landing right-side up.
Police believe the Porsche was going at least 100 mph at the time of the crash. A wheel from the vehicle came off while it was rolling over and smashed the windshield of a nearby parked car.

Ann Arbor Police Department officials are still investigating the crash but said both alcohol and speed are believed to be factors.
