Man hospitalized after shooting on Ann Arbor’s Main Street

No threat to community

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Police are investigating a shooting on the 200 block of North Main Street in downtown Ann Arbor Sunday afternoon.

Officials said a man was shot after intervening in an argument between a man and a woman. The injured man drove to a parking lot in the 400 block of E. Huron St., near the Firestone Complete Auto Care.

“This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community at this time,” the Ann Arbor Police Department said on social media.

A suspect has not yet been located.

The investigation is ongoing and more details will be shared as they become known.
