“We are the community’s college, and Free College Week is our way of thanking everyone for their support. We love opening our doors and inviting the community to be a part of the incredible learning opportunities here, whether it’s brushing up on a professional skill that can help on the job or exploring potential career options or new hobbies,” said WCC President Dr. Rose B. Bellanca in a release.
More than 120 virtual sessions will be available throughout the week ranging from a home-buying seminar to aerial photography with drones and Danish architecture. Classes will be offered between 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
There will be in-person events at the WCC campus on Saturday, April 13, including free classes, campus tours, an esports tournament and student meet-and-greets.
Registration is now open for Free College Week.
WCC officials said more than 3,800 people participated in Free College Week classes in 2023.
