ANN ARBOR, Mich. – No one was injured when several shots were fired into a house on the 1500 block of Marlborough Drive around 1 a.m. on Monday, May 6, are believed to not be random.
An investigation has shown that someone, or a group of people, inside a vehicle purposefully fired into the home, Ann Arbor police officials said in a statement.

Officers found several gun shell casings on the street when responding to calls about the gunfire. Bullets also struck other homes on the residential street.
“Gun violence at any level is unacceptable in our community. We are very fortunate that this incident didn’t result in serious injuries. The department is actively putting resources together to address what happened,” said Ann Arbor Chief of Police Andre Anderson.
Officials said the shooting is not thought to be random and a motive is under investigation. No suspect information was given
