ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Session Room has become the newest location for Ypsilanti’s Arbor Brewing Company.

“We made a promise to bring Arbor Brewing back to Ann Arbor after we regrettably had to close our original downtown Ann Arbor location during the height of the pandemic in 2020,” said Arbor Brewing Company Session Room co-owner Mike Collins.

“While it has taken longer than we had hoped, we held out for the right opportunity and now we’re making good on that promise and can’t wait to start pouring pints again for all the Arbor Brewing Company fans in the community.”

The new location, at 3685 Jackson Rd., opened on Tuesday as the Arbor Brewing Company Session Room after the purchase was finalized on Monday, officials said.

It joins the handful of locations including a brewery in Ypsilanti and both a patio and taproom in Plymouth, Michigan.

Session Room is known for its 70 beer tap handles. Officials said 15-20 more Arbor Brewing Company beers will be added, but that the space will keep Session Room’s menu and staff.

“Arbor Brewing has a storied history going back to 1995 as a pioneer in Michigan’s craft beer industry. As we look forward to our 30th anniversary next year, we are grateful to be able to continue the legacy once again in Ann Arbor. Cheers!” said Collins

Beer fans can look forward to a Mug Club and fan-favorite beers.

Arbor Brewing Company is owned by Michigan-based hospitality group Farm + Ferment. I also owes Bigalora Wood Fired Cucina, Northport Farms and Michigan Hop Alliance, among others.

The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
