ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Parents can still sign their teens and preteens up for hands-on videogame and healthcare camps at Washtenaw Community College this summer.

One-week camps are offered for area residents ages 11-18 between July 22 and August 9.

The first camp, “3D at WCC,” lets participants delve into how 3D production helps enrich video games, virtual reality programs and animated films. Campers must be between the ages of 14-18, and will attend six classes between 1-4 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday during July 22–August 2.

“Health Care Career Exploration” helps preteens ages 11-14 explore their interest in healthcare, learn CPR and get an understanding of the demands that nurses, physical therapists and dieticians face. Classes will be held from 1-4 p.m. between Aug.5-9.

WCC will also host camps about engineering, STEM fields, space and archaeology.

Each camp will be held on campus at 4800 E. Huron River Dr.
