Detroit Pistons star brightens Christmas for kids at Henry Ford St. John Children’s Hospital

DETROIT – Two days after dropping 16 points to lead the Detroit Pistons to an overtime win over the Miami Heat, former Michigan Wolverines star Tim Hardaway Jr. visited Henry Ford St. John Children’s Hospital to spread some Christmas cheer.

Hardaway Jr. teamed up with Wish Upon a Teen on Wednesday (Dec. 19) to provide children with a room makeover on Moross Road in Detroit.

Design My Room is an exclusive Wish Upon a Teen program for teens facing extended hospitalization due to life-threatening illness or serious injury.

Hardaway Jr. visited with children and their families while helping decorate rooms, signing autographs, handing out gifts, and visiting children and families in the NICU.
