Motorcyclist ejected after losing control on US-23 ramp

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A 65-year-old man from Ohio was hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash outside Ann Arbor.

It happened Sunday, June 1, at about 5:30 p.m. According to authorities, the man was driving a 2008 Harley Davison north on US-23 and lost control at the US-23/M-14 interchange, causing him to hit a guardrail and be ejected onto the freeway.

He was taken to the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor for serious injuries.

While police do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved, they do believe the motorcyclist may have been going too fast for the ramp.

The investigation is ongoing.
