We're going to stray from the Buffalo Wild Wings/Hooters wings of the world. Those are good, too, but for the purpose of this list, we'll try and stay local.

You can actually tell us about your favorite wings spot by voting in Vote 4 The Best - Wings!

If you're not into wings, you can check out our list of the best places for tacos in Metro Detroit.

Here are the top 10 places to get wings in Metro Detroit:

10. Baker's Keyboard Lounge - Detroit

You can't go wrong with wings at Baker's, with some nice jazz and drinks. Wings come in sets of 4 or 6. Wing dings also available!

9. Kuzzo's Chicken & Waffles - Detroit

When your chicken wings come with waffles on the side, you really can't mess this up. Kuzzo's is a great spot for brunch with some awesome art, atmosphere - and of course - wings.

8. Wingfingers - Dearborn

If you read the reviews on this place, you'll notice a trend - the BBQ boneless wings are the way to go.

7. Detroit Wing Company - Eastpointe

Great wings, lots of house made sauces and as a plus - they serve poutine.

6. The Block - Detroit (Midtown)

The Block is a fairly new Midtown eatery serving classic American style cuisine with a little bit of elegance. Here's a note from a reviewer on Yelp: "We had ordered the wings with parm garlic for an appetizer. You can get these grilled or fried, obviously we went for fried! Let me tell you these were some real wings! Meaty, large and the sauce was fantastic. This was no bdubs."

5. Bugsy’s - Warren

Order a nice basket of wings with some checkered paper underneath and you'll be wondering why your friend, who claims to be a wings expert, never told you about Bugsy's.

4. City Wings - Detroit (New Center)

Can't go wrong with this New Center spot. Lots of different wing options, sauces and rubs. Garlic parmesan wings are a fan favorite.

3. Wings and Things - Dexter

We dare you to try the "Hot Suicide" sauce. Or don't. Also, 50 wings for $40!

2. Library Sports Pub & Grill - Novi

This place wins awards for wings on a yearly basis. Great place to watch a game, too.

1. Sweetwater Tavern - Detroit

Duh.
