DETROIT, Mich. – The most loved and hated cars of the year named, and only one of the top choices is American made.
Consumer Reports asked its readers to tell them how they feel about the car they own.

The winner of the most loved, is the Tesla Model S. 97-percent of its owners say they would buy the electric car again based on performance.
Second on the list, the Chevrolet Corvette.
Two different Porsche models, the 911 and Macan, round out the top four.
The Kia Rio tops the list for the most hated.
The Nissan Sentra came in at number two.
The other two on the list are Jeeps, the Compass and Patriot.
