Gardner-White Furniture will hire people on the spot Tuesday during job fairs at all of the company's Metro Detroit locations, including its new store opening in Novi.

Gardner-White Furniture’s growth has left us with plenty of great positions to fill. And at the end of 2017, we will be opening a new location in Novi. On Tuesday, Sept. 12, Gardner-White recruiters will be doing on-the-spot hiring for ALL positions at ALL Gardner-White locations throughout metro Detroit. The company is hiring people in sales, customer service and stock positions at all of its stores. See the full list of locations below. The new Novi location is expected to open by the end of the year.
Candidates should come with a resume and identification, and be prepared for multiple interviews. A pre-hire background check and drug screening are required for successful candidates.
Gardner-White is also recruiting drivers and warehouse personnel for its Auburn Hills Distribution Center. Both positions offer the ability to learn areas of logistics and warehouse operations, including picker and forklift training and certification.

In a press release, the company said sales associates have unlimited salary potential, averaging $56,000 annually with top sellers earning over $100,000 annually. The company offers paid training, an affordable benefit package including health, dental, vision, flex spending account, voluntary life insurance, short- and long-term disability, along with the option of 401(k) investing. Gardner-White team members also receive employee discounts on purchases.
