DETROIT – Jorgensen Ford is set to host the 2012 Summer Block Party and Classic Car Show on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
This free event will take place at Jorgensen Ford, located at 8333 Michigan Ave. (at Lonyo) in Detroit and will be hosted by Jay Towers of Fresh 100.3.

All makes and models of classic cars will be on display to take part in the showcase and competition. Grand prizes will be awarded for best Muscle Car, as well as best Classic Car. Antiques, Street Rods and Customs enthusiasts are all encouraged to attend the annual event.
The summer block party will also have a live DJ Dance Party, free food and refreshments, the Ford Bounce House, interactive games for kids, and a booth for parents to receive Child Safety Kits for their children. Back to school prizes will also be awarded to school-aged youth. This is surely the summer event not to miss.
