The Soviaks said they established Revolution Flag Group to honor Old Glory while at the same time, providing an important and often overlooked service.

DPD's flag day event will take place Friday, June 14 at 10 a.m. at DPD's Central District Precinct, located at 7310 Woodward Avenue in Detroit.

Police officers, local elected officials and students will be in attendance.
