RENT (Fisher Theatre), Friday-Sunday: The legendary musical is celebrating its 25th anniversary with an electrifying farewell tour. Relive the songs, characters and story that have made this show a timeless classic as the Fisher Theatre welcomes back guests for the first time since the pandemic. Schedule and ticket info here.

Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood (Dearborn Theatre), Friday 7:30pm: Calling all comedy enthusiasts. The legends of Whose Line Is It Anyway? are bringing their Scared Scriptless tour to Detroit. The masters of improv will create scenes, songs and more all based off audience suggestions. Who knows, you might even get on stage. Get tickets here.

Sterling Frights (Dodge Park), Saturday 10am-1pm: A silly spooky event for the whole family. Hop on a hayride, run through a straw maze, jump on inflatables and trick-or-treat for candy. The first 400 children under 12 get a free pumpkin. Donations of non-perishables will be collected for those in need. More info here.

Halloween Festival (Nankin Mills Park), Saturday 1pm-3pm: Boys and ghouls are invited to dress in their costumes for a free family-friendly Halloween bash. Be a star in the costume parade, enjoy a magic show, plus lots of candy to be given away. Schedule and info here.

Detroit Fall Beer Festival (Eastern Market), Saturday 1pm-6pm: Cozy up to the cooler weather with local beers made from some of Michigan’s best brewers. There will be almost 600 unique beers from 100 different breweries. Each ticket comes with 15 samples. More information and tickets here.

Grand Circus Dog Park Halloween Costume Party, Saturday 2pm-4pm: Don your dog in their Halloween best and go for the gold. Prizes will be awarded for categories like best costume, scariest costume, most creative and more. Treats will be available for both dogs and owners.

Corktown Pumpkin Festival (Murphy Playground), Saturday 3pm-6pm: The pumpkin patch comes to Corktown with this annual tradition of tricks, treats, games and even fortune telling. Come in costume  and bring a bag for lots of candy! More info here.

Royal Oak Spooktacular, Sunday 12pm-5pm: Downtown Royal Oak transforms to a free festive trick-or-treat β€œspooktacular.” A guided path will direct guests to over 35 participating businesses passing out goodies. Dance off the sweets at the Monster Mash dance party. Upgrade your experience with a Spooky Pass and get access to face painting, pumpkin decorating, photo booths and more. Harvest Festival (The Wright Museum), Sunday 1pm-4pm: Celebrate the season with a free festival for the whole family. There will be games, face painting and a drawing contest. The event is open to the public. More info here.

Gold Over America (Little Caesars Arena), Sunday, 7pm: The G.O.A.T. Simone Biles jumps straight from the Olympics and right here to Motor City. Feel the excitement of the gymnastics in a concert-style spectacular and get up close to these world-class athletes. Joining Biles will be Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, MyKalya Skinner and much more.
