DETROIT – Both the Lions and the Red Wings take on Tampa Bay this weekend, plus some Motown Magic to celebrate the D.

Broadway Rave (St. Andrew’s Hall), Friday 9 p.m.: Ever wanted to belt “Defying Gravity” at the top of your lungs with fellow theater afficionados? Now’s your chance with a dance party playing only the best of Broadway. From mega musicals like Hamilton to off-Broadway cult classics like Heathers: The Musical, sing and dance your heart out like you’re on stage. Downtown Rochester Frost Festival, Friday & Saturday: Dive in for a winter festival that’s going ‘under the sea.’ Local artists show off their skills creating life-sized ice sculptures of underwater creatures and imagery. Play ice corn hole, roast marshmallows, or play Frost Fest BINGO to win a Downtown Rochester shopping spree. Novi Home Show (Suburban Collection Showplace), Friday to Sunday: Get ready for spring at one of the largest home improvement shows in the state. Find everything you need to tackle your home projects under one roof. From bath remodeling to roofing, landscaping and more, get inspired by exhibits, experts and educational seminars to turn your house into the home of your dreams. Motown Magic (Valade Park), Friday to Sunday: Celebrate your love for Detroit with a special celebration highlighting the best of the D. Support local businesses at the All Things Marketplace, hear Love Letters to Detroit, see the Parade Company’s famous Big Heads, and take pictures with Hooper! Great Train Show (Suburban Showplace Collection) Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: All abord! Enthusiasts from all around flock on over to Novi for the largest traveling model train show in the country. From expert modelers to children who just want to watch trains whirl by, the Great Train Show is fun for the whole family. Explore hundreds of tables of trains, models, toys and exhibits. The Champions of Magic (Fisher Theatre), Saturday & Sunday: You’ve seen them on TV, now it’s time to experience it before your very own eyes. Witness the impossible in a spectacular live show with mind blowing illusions, special effects and magic that must be seen to be believed. Lions vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Ford Field), Sunday 3 p.m.: The Detroit Lions are making national headlines with their incredible season so far and their playoff win against the Rams last week. We’re doing it all again this Sunday taking on the Bucs for the divisional round. Red Wings vs. Tampa Bay Lightning (Little Caesars Arena), Sunday 7 p.m.: It’s a Tampa Bay double header. The red-hot Wings will be taking on the Lightnings in a game that has been moved from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. due to the Lions divisional game.
