DETROIT – As part of our Go 4 It community campaign, this month, we’re highlighting Share Detroit and their mission to connect volunteers with the causes that matter most to them.
Here’s a little more about their mission:
“Share Detroit is a community engagement conduit offering simple ways for neighbors, nonprofits and businesses to come together and strengthen our local community. We make it easy for people to find local nonprofits and engage with them how they choose, whether it’s donating money, volunteering time, attending an event or buying much needed items from nonprofit wish lists.”
“Our open and inclusive platform amplifies the needs of the entire nonprofit community, giving all organizations a chance to be seen and heard regardless of size, focus area or budget. We believe that by doing good together, we create a stronger, happier Detroit. Share Detroit is also a 501c3 nonprofit created to support all other nonprofits across metro Detroit.”

“Go 4 It” has been a tagline for so long, but it’s really a feeling that we’re putting into action with the launch of the “Go 4 It” commitment, an effort to tell the stories of the people doing amazing things in our community.
It’s something we can all do together to lift up the positive actions of everyday people all around us.
