Dearborn Restaurant Week, through Sunday: Get a taste of Dearborn’s best restaurants with deals and specials you can only get during restaurant week. Try something new at a tried-and-true restaurant you love or be adventurous and discover something new. Participating restaurants include Al Ameer, Brome Modern Eatery, The Great Commoner and more. Mamma Mia! (Fisher Theatre), through Sunday: The global smash hit Broadway musical returns in celebration of its 25th anniversary. Set sail to a Greek island on an adventure of love and friendship through the music of ABBA. From “Dancing Queen” to “Take a Chance on Me” to the title song, Mamma Mia! will have you singing and dancing to the timeless hits of the Swedish pop group. Tickets start at $50. Draft Day in the D (Downtown Detroit parks), Thursday through Saturday: The parks of Downtown Detroit will be joining in on the Draft fun. Expand your experience with even more places to watch the Draft live on big screens throughout the parks. Rock out to live music from dozens of local artists including DJ Choff, Saxappeal, DJ Sheefy McFly and more. Some of the city’s best food trucks will whet your appetite and you can support local artists at the vendor market. Open Thursday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Throwback in Parker’s Alley, Thursday through Saturday: It’s all about the classics this weekend. From retro cars to vintage sports, throw it back in time with special photo opportunities, giveaways and even a pop-up bar. Catch the NFL Draft with video walls live streaming all the action just down the street. Admission is free. More info here.

Greektown Tailgate (Monroe Street), Thursday through Saturday: Just behind the Draft’s main stage, head to the historic district for two full blocks of live music, games, food, drinks and, of course, the Draft. Two stages will host local bands and DJs for an unforgettable night while you watch the Draft unfold on the big screens. Along with Monroe Street’s robust collection of restaurants and bars, there will also be food trucks and pop-up bars. Admission is free. More info here.

Corktown Draft Experience (The Corner Ballpark and Corktown), Thursday through Saturday: Even Corktown is getting in on the Draft action. Head to The Corner Ballpark for the official kids activation Step inside one of six tents to watch the Draft live on the big screen. Many of the bars and restaurants along Detroit’s oldest neighborhood will also be offering deals and discounts all weekend long. If you want to get closer to the action, hop on board a free shuttle. Football Fan Fun Run (Cullen Plaza), Saturday 9 to 10 a.m.: If all this Draft energy is getting you hyped up, use that extra energy for a group run or walk along the picturesque Detroit Riverfront. Rock your favorite team’s gear or wear Honolulu Blue. All fans of all levels are welcome, including kids in strollers. The event is free. More info and registration here.

Eastern Market Night Market (Sheds 2-4), Friday 5 to 8 p.m.: Experience Eastern Market after dark. If you want to take a break from the football action, head on over to Eastern Market, just a few blocks away, for a curated collection of vendors, businesses, food and drinks, plus live music. The Mitten Vintage Night Market (Royal Oak Farmers Market), Saturday 5 to 10 p.m.: Looking for a great throwback outfit? Stop on by the Mitten Vintage Market for classic looks and hard-to-find styles from over 60 local collectors. You’ll also be helping the environment by giving gently used clothes a second chance. Urban Arts & Eatery Expo (Eastern Market Shed 5), Sunday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Discover Detroit’s hidden gems at the festival that highlights community arts and food, back for its sixth year. Get a taste of the city with over 150 vendors selling the best food, drinks and art that the city has to offer including Masters of Hibachi, The Rub BBQ 313, Mr. Creole and more.
