If you shop at Walmart you need to know about a new recall.
Federal regulators at the the U.S. Department of Agriculture say Walmart is recalling nearly 90,000 pounds of beef patties because they may be contaminated with pieces of wood. It's not clear how the wood got into the mix, but the problem was discovered during the production process.

The Huisken Meat Company of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota is recalling 89,568 pounds of Sam's Choice Black Angus Beef Patties with 19 percent Vidalia Onion. The specific packages involved feature "Use By" dates of May 17, 2016, May 29, 2016, and June 6, 2016, which would place the production dates at November 19, 2015 and December 9, 2015.
The recall includes two pound boxes containing six pieces of the patties and the establishment number "EST. 394A" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
"Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase." said Veronika Medina of U.S Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
No Injuries Reported
Federal regulators say no customers have come forward to with any adverse reactions to the beef at this time. They also say there is a low health risk for anyone who may eat the patties. However, if anyone who has consumed the product are experiencing some negative effects, they are urged to seek their health care provider immediately.
