More than 3,000 pounds of fully cooked beef wiener products are being recalled due to misbranding and an undeclared milk allergen.

Perdue Premium Meat Company, Inc., doing business as Alexander & Hornung, a Saint Clair Shores establishment is recalling 3,204 pounds of fully cooked beef wiener products. That’s because the product may actually contain smoked sausage, which contains milk.

The item was produced on May 3, 2023. The recall includes the following products:

  • 2-lbs. vacuum-sealed packages labeled “BROOKSIDE BRAND FULLY COOKED NATURAL CASING BEEF WIENERS” with the lot code 3121, case code 07658, and sell by date of 8/1/23.

Recalled products have the establishment number “EST 10125″ inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to retail locations throughout Ohio.

Consumers can call the Alexander & Hornung Consumer Hotline at 1-866-866-3703.
