DETROIT – Help Me Hank is working to get help to a senior stuck in an unlikely battle with his car insurance company.
His wife can no longer drive because of her rapidly declining health. So he wants her off of the policy, but the insurance company isn’t really listening.
Art Burgess and his wife Gayle have been married for more than 60 years but recently her health has taken a turn for the worse. She is getting hospice care in their Milan home. He wants her off the car insurance because she simply can’t drive.
He knows she can’t drive and he doesn’t want to pay even more than he should.
So I made calls and got in touch with the local agent and then with corporate and we were told they would look at this and rereviewing it once more now Gayle has been removed from the policy despite having a valid license.
