Street on Detroit’s east side hit by flooding, illegal dumping

DETROIT – A neighborhood in Detroit is dealing with intense flooding that turned a street into a pond.

Residents said enough is enough and reached out to Hank Winchester for help.

Things have gotten so bad on Louisianna Street that people have started to drive the wrong way on the one-way street to avoid the water and blight.

Residents have been unable to get deliveries because of the water backup.

Additionally, the neighborhood on Detroit’s east side has had trash left by illegal dumpers.

Within hours of Hank reaching out to the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department, crews were out and dealing with the mess once and for all.
