DETROIT – If you have received a phone call during which you are offered a free cruise, you might be eligible to receive cash.

A class-action lawsuit alleges that a resort marketing group violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by making automated calls to people and offering a free cruise with Carnival Corporation & PLC, Royal Carribean Cruises and NCL.

People eligible for cash received the pre-recorded telephone calls between July 2009 and March 2014.

Claims must be filed by Nov. 3.

The final hearing is scheduled for April 2.
