There is no better way to celebrate Black History Month than see the show “Ruby: the Musical” at the Detroit Music Hall. Luckily for you, we are giving away multiple family 4-packs of tickets to the show on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 3 pm.
The show is about the trust story of Ruby McCollum, a woman who was accused a white doctor in the south in 1952. Not only was the case a big deal, but it also became a big deal because fames writer Zora Neale Hurston was sent by the Pittsburgh Courier to cover the trial.
This show is Broadway-bound, so come out and see it before it hits the big stage. The music is fabulous, the acting is suburb and it tells a true American story that is often forgotten about.
If you are picked a winner, you’ll have to pick your tickets up from the Local 4 Studios. Our address is 550 W Lafayette Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226.
