It’s no doubt that women just inherently rock.
That’s true in life, and in music. That’s why the Detroit Symphony Orchestra is performing a concert dedicated to the women in rock music who have left a lasting impact.
You can expect to hear songs from Carole King, Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, Pat Benatar, Tina Turner, and more.
Two winners will be selected and win a pair of tickets to the show on April 25, as well as tickets to the show’s after party called Women Rock: After Dark following the show. There will be drinks and food, and entertainment provided by DJ Thornstryker, the first female NBA DJ for the Pistons.
