AP Projects: Joe Biden wins District of Columbia in presidential election

District of Columbia has 3 electoral votes

The Associated Press is projecting that Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden won the nation’s capital District of Columbia in the General Election.

As of 9:27 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, AP is calling the presidential race in the District of Columbia in favor of Joe Biden.

Biden will receive three electoral votes from the District of Columbia. A presidential candidate requires at least 270 electoral votes to win the election.
