Elissa Slotkin vs. Mike Rogers: Michigan voters decide who takes US Senate seat

Michigan voters will decide if Elissa Slotkin or Mike Rogers will take Michigan U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenowโ€™s seat.

Slotkin has been serving in Michiganโ€™s U.S. House District 7 since 2023. She has been a U.S. Representative since 2019. Prior to launching her political campaign, she was a Central Intelligence Agency analyst and Department of Defense official.

Rogers served in Michiganโ€˜s U.S. House District 8 from 2001 to 2015. He served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army through the Reserve Officersโ€™ Training Corps until 1989. Rogers then started his five-year career at the FBI. He entered public service in 1994, running as a Republican for a Michigan Senate seat.
