2024 presidential election: Donald Trump wins North Carolina, AP projects

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has won the state of North Carolina in the General Election, the Associated Press projects.

As of 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday, AP is calling the presidential race in the state of North Carolina in favor of Trump.

Trump will receive 16 electoral votes from North Carolina. A presidential candidate requires at least 270 electoral votes to win the election.
