Rihanna’s boyfriend A$AP Rocky detained at LAX in connection to a shooting from November 2021

LOS ANGELES, Cali. – Rapper A$AP Rocky was detained Wednesday in Los Angeles due to being in connection with a shooting from November 2021.
The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, arrived at LAX from a vacation in Barbados with his girlfriend, singer Rihanna.

According to NBC News, Mayers had been under an investigation by LAPD for a shooting on November 6. The shooting victim from that day told police that the rapper was walking with two others and approached him with a handgun on the street. According to police reports, the victim was shot at by Mayers at least three times.
The shooting had not yet been reported in the media.
