Did Pride Month come a little early this year?

It felt like June had peaked its head a little early after I found out that pop stars and LGBTQ icons Charli XCX and Troye Sivan were teaming up for a co-headlining tour across North America that can only be described as a joint slay.

Charli Xcx & Troye Sivan Present: Sweat” Tour with special guest Shygirl will kick off in Detroit at Little Caesars Arena on Saturday, Sept. 14. This will be the first time that either Charli XCX or Troye Sivan will have performed a headlining show in an arena in Detroit, and it’s so exciting that they tour will kick off in the Motor City.

Charli XCX comes from across the pond, and you’ll probably recognize her hits “I Love It” featuring Icona Pop and “Boom Clap” from the radio. She also wrote and sings on Iggy Azelia’s hit “Fancy” from back in 2014.

Charli XCX has been teasing new music on social media, so it will be exciting that she will be touring with a new album. It’s called “BRAT” and it should be out later this year. You can already listen to “Club classics” and “B2b” from the highly anticipated album.

On the other hand, Australian-born Sivan released the best work of his career last year with his third album “Something To Give Each Other.” It featured the hits “Rush” and “One of Your Girls,” and he even ended up getting some Grammy nominations, thanks to the critically acclaimed album.

Tickets to this soon-to-be iconic tour go on sale Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m. at 313Presents.com, LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster.com.
