Comedy icon Bob Newhart dies at 94

The comedy world lost a legend on Thursday after the passing of Bob Newhart.
The Hollywood Reporter says the beloved comedian, known for two hit shows including “The Bob Newhart Show,” died on Thursday at the age of 94.
Newhart, a Chicago native, died at his home in Los Angeles after a series of short illnesses, according to the report.
Newhart rose to fame after his 1960 comedy album, “The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart,” became a best-seller.
