You can now add Jack White to the list of musicians who don’t want former President Donald Trump to use his music.
Trump’s Deputy Director of Communication, Margo Martin, posted a video of the former President walking onto a plane with “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes playing as Trump walked up the stairs to the plane. The post was removed from social media by Thursday afternoon.

White, a fierce critic of the former President, was not happy about the use of his music.
“Oh....Don’t even think about using my music you fascists,” wrote White in a charged Instagram post.
Beyond calling Trump a fascist, he also threatened to file a lawsuit the former President for using his band’s music, which Trump most likely did not have the rights to use.
“Law suit coming from my lawyers about this,” White wrote on Instagram.
He also took a shot at Trump’s recent visit to Arlington National Cemetery. White wrote to his 700,000 Instagram followers, “...for insulting our nation’s veterans at Arlington you scum. You should lose every military family’s vote immediately from that if ANYTHING makes sense anymore.”
This is far from the first time a musician has been upset that Trump has used music that his campaign didn’t have permission to use. Just last week, Foo Fighters said they did not give permission for the Trump campaign to use their song “My Hero” during a campaign rally.
Even Celine Dion was upset that Trump’s campaign used her song “My Heart Will Go On” earlier this month.
Time will tell if White will actually be able to file a lawsuit against Trump, but the former president’s campaign surely know not to use his music anymore. You can see White’s Instagram post below.
