The best way to describe the ReVamp Clothing Swap Festival is you’ll find everything you need that others don’t want! Attendees will get the opportunity to pick through other’s gently used items in the effort to up-cycle clothing, rather than discarding clothes that maybe have only been worn once and to promote sustainability. Everything left over will then be donated to local non-profits too! In addition to finding new digs, attendees can also enjoy a packed lineup of local musicians from Detroit and have the opportunity to network with other attendees who have a passion for fashion as well.

Head on down to the Cass Corridor, bring some walking shoes and get ready to drink, eat, listen to fantastic music and look at some fabulous art. I’ve been going to Dally in the Alley for years now, and it’s truly one of the most authentically Detroit events. From local music, food and artists, it’s always a great time.

Planet Ant Theatre - Hamtramck
This is one of those events that I (Jack) am so thankful is around and is happening. My sobriety journey began at the end of last year, so I’m still very new to all of it, but it really warms my heart knowing there is an event like this catered to people who live sober lives. Hosted at the Planet Ant Theatre in Hamtramck, this party will feature live music tasty food and mocktails galore. As someone who doesn’t have a lot of options when it comes to drinks when I go out to the bar with my friends, this is so cool that this event is happening.

About your Go Guider
Hello!
My name is Laura and I’m Local 4s newish Special Event Producer! As someone who is usually behind the scenes creating unique and thrilling experiences, quite honestly, it’s hard to talk about myself. I really love being everyone else’s cheerleader. It’s also amazing to be recommending and supporting events in my community to people like you...or not like you at all. I used to strive to have my own events listed on this type of thing back in the day...and well now I’m here...putting things on the list (Go Guide).
Anyways I’m excited to take over the Go Guide in addition to my regular tasks of producing marvelous events for Local 4! Some weeks my coworker Jack Roskopp will be guest writing the Go Guide with me. I thought this would be a great idea to help bring some variety to the list.
