Girls really do want to have fun! And they certainly will when Cyndi Lauper takes the stage at the Fox Theatre for her farewell tour. The legendary pop star has been doing this for decades, so it’s bittersweet that this will be her last tour. Fans can expect to hear all of the hits, like “Time After Time,” “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” and “True Colors.” This will be a show you won’t want to miss!
Dead at the Winery: Halloween Costume Party

If you live in Northville or love the Grateful Dead, you already know Northville Winery and Brewing Company is the place to be every Thursday. This week in particular will be a costume party! As usual the Royal Grand will play multiple sets with live painting by Jody Bauman. Twisted Street BBQ Food Truck will be there too.
WDET Rock and Roll Horror Show

This Friday, the Rock and Roll Horror Show returns to Cadieux Cafe’s outdoor stage! This is the second year WDET’s Jon Moshier has produced this annual Halloween special music event. There will be performances by the 3-D Invisibles and Eastside Elvis & the Motor City Mafia. There will be tarot readings and a costume contest as well.
Vince Staples | Black in America Tour

Cathedral Theatre at the Masonic Temple
After recording his new album Dark Times over a seven-month stretch, Vince Staples is on the tour grind again. He started writing the album when he was in post-production of his critically acclaimed Netflix series, “The Vince Staples Show”, which helped inspire this album. Dark Times confronts a harsh reality, and critics describe it as one of his most thoughtful and introspective albums. Staples' Black in America Tour will visit 14 cities including Toronto.

Tis the season to get scared, right? Scarefest at Palmer Park is this Saturday and will be a wicked good time. You can expect a Zombie Trail of Terror, Thrill Rides, lots of candy, face painting, haunted dinosaurs, food trucks, live entertainment and so much more. Palmer Park is lovely this time of year, so why not spend a spooky October night there?
Joel Kim Booster | Rude Little Pig Tour

Comedian Joel Kim Booster is hitting the stage at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, on his “Rude Little Pig Tour,” which is pretty fitting for the venue! Booster is an actor and comedian, and you may have seen him in the Hulu movie “Fire Island,” which he stars and wrote himself. If you’re a member of the LGBTQ+ community, this will be a show you’ll want to check out, as Booster is gay and is sooooo funny.
Dirt Room: 2MOONS Live in Concert with special guests

Northern Lights Lounge
Local surrealist noise pop band Dirt Room will be celebrating the release of their new album 2MOONS this Friday with special guest performances by Deon Jamar, Gabi, Osy Chick and Chris Koltay. Northern Lights Lounge will be giving out free shots if you dress in costume.
Sesame Street Live

Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street? Well, if you can’t, it will be at the Fox Theatre. If you have little tots, there’s a pretty good chance they are already obsessed with “Sesame Street,” Elmo, Big Bird and the rest of the gang. Little toddles and kids love shows like this, so why not take them next weekend? It will for sure turn into a core memory for them.
