Calvert has been with the station since 2000 and replaces Deminski and Doyle as WCSX's morning show host in January 2010.
Trudi Daniels joined Calvert's morning show in June. She will continue as the show's host.
"This has been a dream job with a dream company, " Calvert wrote in a statement. "I look forward to remaining part of the Greater Media Detroit family. It allows me to stay on-air in a limited basis and have a larger part on our growing digital platform with blogs and a regular podcast."
