A new survey reveals the nation’s favorite emoji’s.
The group Reviews.org, a home services and products review site, researched which emojis are favored by various U.S. states.

The most used emoji was the smiling face with heart eyes 😍, and it was also the most searched by seven states: Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Oregon, Utah and Wisconsin.
Michigan’s favorite emoji is the face with the eyes closed and tongue sticking out 😝.
The site used a combination of Google searches, polls and Instagram data to determine the results.
