DETROIT – Michigan is filled with ghost stories - from legendary myths to dark, mysterious things that go bump in the night.

Mackinac Island - One of Michigan's most popular tourist destinations is also one of its most haunted -- Mackinac Island.

Eloise Psychiatric Hospital - The legend of Eloise is still talked about around Metro Detroit, and is even known outside of Michigan as one of the creepiest places around.

Detroit's Historic Fort Wayne has long been rumored to house some restless souls of its past..

Traverse City State Hospital - One of the most popular legends of the hospital is the "Hippy Tree," which claims that a particular tree on the hospital's grounds is a portal to Hell.

The witch of Pere Cheney cemetery - A Michigan "ghost town" has a reputation for ghostly behavior.

The Botsford Inn, in Farmington, built in 1836, was the romantic rendezvous where Henry Ford met his wife Clara.
