Anyone who follows Detroit City FC knows just how historic of a game the club played Tuesday against MLS team Columbus Crew.
The two clubs had never met before, but it felt like a rivalry had existed for years when the two teams took to the field at Keyworth Stadium on Tuesday evening in Hamtramck.

After fighting back to tie the game late in the second half, Detroit City FC was awarded a penalty kick late in the game, and Columbus Crew’s fate was pretty much sealed.
They were about to lose to a USL team in the Open Cup.
If you watched the game at home, then you know how electric the atmosphere was at Keyworth (although, a true DCFC fan knows it’s always this wild, no matter who they’re playing), and things really took off once the team sealed their victory.
