We’ve teamed up with the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, Raise the Flag and Revolutionary Events to bring you a 313 Day that the city of Detroit soon won’t forget!

When: March 13 (313 Day), from 3:13 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Where: 2670 Atwater St, Detroit, MI 48207 (Robert C. Valade Park)

What to expect: Music, comedy, art, trivia, prizes and more!

So what can you expect when you show up for this celebration of Detroit?

The headliner of the day is My Detroit Players. You may have seen this group of incredible musicians perform in and around Detroit before. This supergroup of musicians are extremely talented, and they each bring an insane amount of musical power and knowledge to this group.

If you’re a fan of funk, rock, R&B, pop and music that makes you want to groove, you will absolutely love seeing this group take the stage on 313 Day.

Other musical acts include hip-hop artists Cloudyyy and Brizzl, gospel and soul artists Al Bettis and George Montrelle, DJ Drummer B and Asklepius who’s a fusion of jazz and prog rock. If you love music and LOVE DETROIT this event is just for you.

There will also be comedy! We could all use a good laugh these days, which is why it’s exciting that we’ll have a group of hilarious Detroit comedians take the stage, as well as an Only In Detroit trivia game hosted by Tiffany Barb, aka TBarb.  There will be prizes too!

TBarb has thousands of followers on Instagram and TikTok, and her videos are hilarious. If you follow her on social media, you already know it’s going to be a great time with her on the mic.

The one and only TBarb. (TBarb.)

We’ll also see standup sets from Mic Larry who is a radio personality on 105.9 kiss FM, Roni Shanell who tours nationally and local favorites such as Joe Aasim and Jason Brent. All of these comedians perform at various club all over Metro Detroit, so it’s a great way to see some local Detroit comedy talent, and get a good laugh in.

Oh, and there’s stuff for the kids! There will be Detroit themed coloring activities available at the Local 4 and Detroit Riverfront Conservancy tables.  Stop by and get a free coloring book and pencils!

Let's get ready to color! (WDIV.)

Like we said, this event is completely free, so make sure you grab the entire family and head to Valade Park on Detroit’s Riverfront for a celebration that is all things Detroit. It starts at 3:13 p.m. on March 13. You can’t forget it!

Thanks to our partners, Revolutionary Events, Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, and Detroit Raise the Flag for helping make this event happen.
