This weekend there’s a very special FREE event is taking place at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant. One hundred and sixteen years ago on September 29th the first Model T was produced at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant.
If you aren’t familiar with this Detroit gem which is also a Historic Landmark, it is one of the oldest car factories in America open to the public in Milwaukee Junction, Detroit.
On Sunday, September 29th from 10am-4pm the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant will be hosting a birthday party for the Model T. Visitors can enjoy free Model T rides, vintage vehicles displays, live music, unique vendors, fun games for the kids and BIRTHDAY CAKE!!
There is no cost for outdoor activities or amenities in the Piquette Assembly Room. The line for Model T rides will form near the historic front entrance and will be first-come, first-serve until 3pm. Complimentary birthday cake will be served at 12 p.m.
Guests can also visit the museum for $10-$18. Private tours are available too!
