Where to watch the 2016 Ford Fireworks in Detroit

No description found

Detroit's Ford Fireworks are set for Monday, June 27 and everyone will be out to find the best viewing locations.

Here is a list of the parks in Detroit that will be the best to watch the fireworks.

Recommended Videos

  • Hart Plaza
  • Chene Park
  • St. Aubin Park
  • Riverside Park
  • Mt. Elliot Park
  • Tri-centennial Park
  • Owen Park
  • Erma Henderson Park

Belle Isle will also be one of the best places to see the fireworks, but it will be closed once the desired capacity is reached, so it will be important to get there first. Tents can be posted on Belle Isle only and they must be made of see-through mesh material.

There will be no parking or viewing on the Belle Isle MacArthur Bridge.

Of course, if you don't head out to watch the fireworks, you can tune into WDIV Local 4 for the countdown to the fireworks from 7-8pm, including the semifinalists of our Super Singer competition, the finals of the annual competition at 9pm, followed by the fireworks display.
