DETROIT – On Wednesday night, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer delivered her State of the State Address. It was filled with ideas cheered by her Democratic colleagues while the Republicans in the room asked how to pay for them.

The last two weekends have been glorious and joyful, but they were also hosted by Ford Field.
