“We’re seeing lots of respiratory viruses. And asthma and allergies are flaring with the onset of cold weather. I’ve even seen a case of hand-foot-mouth this week. We usually see more cases of it in the summer, but it can happen in Fall as well.”

“We are seeing a case or two of COVID daily. We are also seeing an increase in asthma and COPD exacerbations due to the weather change.”

“I’m seeing lots of asthma flare-ups and COPD patients struggling with fall viruses such as the flu, common colds, RSV, and COVID. Many patients who test positive for COVID are reporting chills, body aches, and sore throat—often without a cough initially. “

“We’ve been seeing quite a bit of COVID-19 lately. As we get into the cooler season, we are seeing and will continue to see more and more upper respiratory infections. Get your vaccinations as soon as you can to help minimize your risk!”

“This week, we’ve been seeing asthma flare-ups due to viruses and allergies. Patients should seek medical care if they have difficulty speaking, breathing, or if oxygen readings are significantly lower than usual.”

“We are seeing an increase in patients, with many presenting respiratory issues, a slight rise in COVID cases, as well as falls, and chest, abdominal, leg, and hip pain. “

“Trinity Health Livonia is still seeing a slight increase with COVID patients and viral respiratory symptoms.”
Washtenaw County – COVID, upper respiratory infections, stomach viruses, asthma flare-ups, RSV

“On the adult side, we continue to see a moderate amount of Covid as well as other URIs. There’s a slight uptick in GI illness as well, often with upper respiratory symptoms.”

“Influenza cases in Washtenaw County residents are currently at low levels. Sporadic cases of influenza A and influenza B are being reported. Most influenza cases being reported in Washtenaw county are influenza B. Influenza wastewater detection is currently at low levels in both Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti.”
Monroe County – Shortness of breath, headaches, viral illnesses, asthma & COPD flare-ups

“This week at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital – Emergency Center, we are seeing patients coming in with abdominal pain, shortness of breath, and headaches, along with a few orthopaedic injures.”
Macomb County – Upper respiratory infections, stomach viruses, COVID, sports injuries

“There was a slight, though noticeable, uptick in patients testing positive for COVID-19, though patients are mainly discharged after receiving treatment. Upper respiratory infections (cough, congestion, slight fever) and gastroenteritis (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea) resulting from a viral infection are the most common conditions reported in the emergency department. Mainly sustained in youth athletics, orthopedic injuries continue to be treated in the trauma center.”
