WESTLAND, Mich. – Another case of hepatitis A was confirmed in Metro Detroit, this time at a location in Westland.
Hepatitis A was confirmed in an employee at the Token Lounge on Joy Road, according to the Wayne County Department of Health, Veterans and Community Wellness.

The facility was inspected Wednesday. Health Department staffers will be offering vaccinations to the employees of the facility.
Anyone who consumed beverages from the Token Lounge between Nov. 20 and Dec. 4 are warned to watch for symptoms of hepatitis A. Symptoms usually occur between 15 and 50 days after exposure.
Hepatitis A symptoms include:
- abdominal pain,
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- dark urine,
- clay-colored stool,
- fever,
- chills
- yellow skin and eyes (jaundice).
Hepatitis A has been confirmed in service industry workers across Metro Detroit.
