10. Motor City Brewing Works (Detroit-Midtown)
Brick oven pizzas are light in crust, but explosive in flavor. Lots of unique pizza takes here and also - lots of great beer and a nice patio!
9. Ottava Via (Detroit-Corktown)
This semi-swanky spot in Corktown has a fantastic pizza menu, with both red and white pizzas and a wide range of toping options. Thin crust is the way to go. Great cocktails and outdoor seating here, too.
8. Niki's Pizza (Detroit-Greektown)
A Detroit classic. Niki's is the thick, juicy Detroit-style square pizza you're probably craving.Â
7. Cloverleaf (Eastpointe)

A Michigan classic. The creator of Detroit's square style deep dish, and you can never really go wrong at Buddy's.

The ever-growing Green Lantern is a heavy spin on an old school pizza parlor. Throw some crushed red pepper on that slice and get to the next one fast.
