DETROIT – The New Year is among us, that means a lot of Americans will make new plans to travel in 2016. If you have big destination dreams but a small budget, we've got you covered.
Travelzoo, known for their expertise on deals with over 28 million members worldwide has released a listing on the best times to travel to some of the most popular destinations.

For example, the travel advice giant says that a vacation to Turkey can run anywhere from $1599-$1899, but says that you can book the exact same package for around $1299, if you visit during the month of February.

Thailand - Lowest airfares and hotel accommodations can be found from July-October. These months are known as their rainy season, but Travelzoo says the downpours rarely last all day.
China- Pay a visit to the Great Wall during the cold winds months, November - February. You can expect to see blue skies and entire parts of the wall to yourself.
Europe - Travelzoo suggest that you plan your trip also from November-February. Crowds tend to gather in the spring and summer months because of honeymoons, the French Open, and Wimbledon Tennis Championships.
Arizona - If you want to stay within the states, travelers can grab a great deal at a 5 star resort, but only if it's not in the middle of the winter.
