Tomorrow is National Drink Wine Day, so ahead of that, we wanted to know: Is there a right way to drink wine? There are all those “rules,” but do you actually need to follow them? Joining hosts Tati Amare and Kim DeGiulio on the couch today to discuss it are Lauren Crocker with “The Blaine Fowler Morning Show” on 96.3 WDVD, and Vanessa Cohen, the co-founder of the Cohen Brand.
We asked: Does it really matter what type of glass you drink wine out of? Stemmed glasses, no stems, travel mug, does it matter? How about holding the wine glass, should you hold a chilled wine by the stem of the glass? Speaking of chilled wines, is it okay to put ice in your wine? Finally, do wine pairings really make a difference? Should you only serve red wines with red meat and white wines with poultry and seafood? Do sweet wines only fit with desserts?
To see their responses, watch the video above.
Michelle Oliver joined the group with some viewer comments. We asked: Is it taboo to put ice in your wine? See all of their responses below.
