What do you do when your senior year of high school is cut off due to a pandemic? You turn to something that makes you happy. That’s exactly what Deonte Hughes-Adams did. The Chandler Park Academy student’s final seasons of basketball and baseball were halted due to COVID-19. Although he was sad that he couldn’t experience the final glory of running the bases of his high school, he is ready to continue his athletic journey at Mid-Michigan College next year.
