Gardner-White Furniture has a creative new tool that can pull together a fresh new look for an entire room.
Rachel Stewart, the president of Gardner-White, joined “Live in the D” host Jason Carr to explain it.
When people generally say the sofa is “customizable” at furniture stores, they mean you can pick out the fabric, but that is not the case with Gardner-White’s Design Lab. You get to pick everything from the shape of it, to how comfy and plush the cushions are.
It is a sleek kiosk with a touch screen that allows you to build an entirely customized sofa or sectional. The store has plenty of contemporary designs, but you can get traditional styles, as well. As they say, the sky is the limit.
Perhaps the best part, is that you can see a rendering of the finished couch, so you have a sneak peek at what it will look like when it gets delivered.
