Six-time Grammy Award-winner and legendary songwriter Don Was is back in the D to play some of his favorite tunes on the radio. Was is teaming up with WDET host Ann Delisi for their new show, “The Don Was Motor City Playlist with Ann Delisi”. Was spoke to Jason Carr, who dressed for the interview in his 80′s best, about the new show and how excited he is to share music he appreciates with others. Was said this partnership was two years in the making, after discussing with Delisi how it was a life-long dream to host a free-form radio show on WDET. Now he will be playing classics and deep cuts with Delisi on Friday nights from 10 p.m. to midnight.
