Looking for something fun to do around the D this weekend?

Cat bingo, pheasant walk, and visits with the Easter Bunny are on tap

After you celebrate Tigers’ Opening Day on Friday, there’s a bunch of other exciting events scheduled throughout the weekend.

Here are just a few of the events you can check out:

ARTrageous in Brighton

  • Artists create paintings live on stage, sing, interact with the audience and do performances under black lights during ARTrageous. The show will be taking the stage at the Brighton Center for the Performing Arts Friday at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available online.

Pheasant Walk in Detroit

  • The Detroit Audubon’s Pheasant Walk will be back in action. The colorful birds call the city home, and you can join others on a walk as you search for the bird to take pictures. The walk is about eight to fifteen city blocks. It starts Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the corner of Scott Street and Grandy Street.

Cat Bingo in Ferndale

  • If you love animals, then why not try Cat Bingo at the Catfé Lounge? You can play a game of bingo as cats and kittens crawl all around. The event happens Saturday at 7 p.m.. It costs 30 dollars, and the money raised goes to help cats in need.

Meet the Easter Bunny in Rochester Hills

  • One animal that’s hopping into town is the Easter Bunny. You have a chance to take pictures and visit with the bunny at The Village of Rochester Hills Shopping center. Bunny visits will run from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. There will also be a petting farm where you can meet other animals.

Novi Home & Garden Show

  • You can get ideas for spring cleaning, organization, and home renovation at Tthe Novi Home and Garden Show. More than 100 vendors will be at the event that runs from Friday through Sunday at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. Admission is 10 dollars for adults. Kids 12 and under get in for free.
